About 50 residents were evacuated from Block 921 along Tampines Street 91 after a fire broke out at a unit on the first floor.
According to a Facebook post by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), preliminary findings indicate that the fire likely originated from the battery of a power-assisted bicycle (PAB) charging inside the bedroom.
