S'porean woman, 21, dies in motorcycle accident along Johor expressway
The woman suffered head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 21-year-old Singaporean woman has died on Dec. 10 following a motorcycle collision along the North-South Expressway in Johor, Malaysia.
According to New Straits Times (NST), the woman was riding pillion when the motorcycle lost control and crashed into road barriers.
The incident occurred at the 49.5km mark of the expressway at 9:15am.
Died from head injuries, motorcyclist
The woman suffered head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to The Star, the motorcyclist, who is reportedly her boyfriend, suffered leg injuries.
The 23-year-old man had reportedly lost control of his motorcycle, leading to the collision.
Both of them were taken to the Temenggong Seri Maharaja Tun Ibrahim Hospital in Kulai, Johor.
Kulai Assistant Commissioner Tan Seng Lee said that the couple was making their way home to Singapore from Kuala Lumpur.
