The Singapore men's football team recorded a famous 0-0 draw away at Bukit Jalil, the home stadium of the Malaysian football team in the last group match of the Asean Football Championship on Dec. 20, 2024.

The result sees the Lions making it through to the next round of the tournament, as the group leaders Thailand defeated Cambodia 3-2 in a match played on the same night.

This meant that Singapore secured second place in Group A, with Malaysia crashing out.

Singapore therefore advances to the semi-finals of the tournament.

Singapore's next opponent is yet to be decided, with the final Group B matches taking place at a later time.
