Kim Lim expands beauty empire, unveils larger scalp care centre at Wheelock Place
Her brand has also expanded to Thailand this year.

Papilla by Kim Lim has opened a new flagship store at Wheelock Place.
Founded by Singaporean influencer Kim Lim in 2019, the brand was previously located in Ngee Ann City.
Papilla by Kim Lim offers personalised treatments, which they say strengthens the scalp and promotes hair growth based on individual hair and scalp needs.
The scalp care centre opened its first international outlet in Thailand on Oct. 8.
Lim, who is also expecting her second child, is the founder of KLHealth, which includes brands like illumia Skin, illumia Medical and illumia Therapeutics.
Revamp
In an Instagram post on Nov. 26, Lim revealed that her formulas were sold to other brands and clinics without her knowledge.
"I was heartbroken to see my hard work shared this way, and I honestly felt betrayed," she shared in her post.
Following the incident, Lim has decided to stop restocking her current formulas once the products are sold out.
She also announced that she is working on formulas with fresh ingredients.
The logos for illumia Skin and illumia Medical have also been updated to feature a Chinese character representing Lim’s surname.

Previously, illumia Skin had a light pink logo, while illumia Medical used a light blue logo, a theme that was consistent across their products and social media platforms.
The new store at Wheelock Place features an expanded space with more amenities and a wider range of products.

It also includes private VIP rooms and a couple's room.
New product launch
Papilla by Kim Lim has launched three new products in collaboration with a UK trichologist with over 30 years of expertise under her belt.
The products are powered by NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide), which helps rejuvenate scalp cells, repair DNA and strengthen hair follicles.

The new products are:
- NAD+ Hair Thickening Serum: A drug-free, no-rinse serum that helps combat hair loss and strengthen follicles.
- NAD+ Hair Ampoule: A fast-absorbing ampoule designed for deep nourishment and hair growth.
- Ultimate Formula: A hormone-free supplement with 21 active ingredients that support scalp health and vibrant hair growth.
These products target hair loss and thinning while nourishing and strengthening hair throughout its growth cycle.
