Motorcyclist, 57, dies after collision with lorry along MCE, family seeking witnesses
The lorry driver, a 35-year-old male, is assisting with police investigations.
A 57-year-old male motorcyclist passed away after his bike collided with a lorry along Marina Costal Expressway (MCE) towards Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) on Dec. 2 afternoon.
The aftermath of the fatal incident was caught on camera by an onlooker who shared the photos with Shin Min Daily News.
According to the photos, the rear of the lorry was dented due to the impact of the collision.
The motorcyclist, who was lying on the road, appeared to be bleeding heavily from his head.
A Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) vehicle and ambulance were also dispatched to the scene, and at least five SCDF officers could be seen attending to the motorcyclist's injuries.

In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) and SCDF confirmed they were alerted to the collision at around 1pm on Dec. 2.
The motorcyclist was conveyed unconscious to Singapore General Hospital, where he subsequently passed away.
The lorry driver, a 35-year-old male, is assisting with police investigations.
Police investigations are ongoing.
Appealing for witnesses
On Dec. 2 night, a man who identified himself as the son of the motorcyclist took to Instagram to appeal for witnesses.
According to the man, his father was heading to his office at Alexandra Point when tragedy struck.
"Your footage will be vital, [as it will] not only assist in the investigation but also help our family find closure during this incredibly difficult time," wrote the man, who provided his phone number in his post.
