The residents of Marsiling-Yew Tee Group Representation Constituency (GRC) raised over S$600,000 in a one-month campaign for the Rahmatan Lil Alamin Foundation (RLAF).
On Dec. 6, Marsiling-Yew Tee Member of Parliament (MP) Zaqy Mohamad shared that S$600,478 was raised as part of the GRC's humanitarian aid campaign.
The money was donated to Rahmatan Lil Alamin (Blessings to All) Foundation (RLAF) in its latest fundraising campaign, "Humanitarian Aid for Gaza 2024".
"What a journey it has been! We are truly humbled by the overwhelming support we've received," Zaqy wrote in a Facebook post on Dec. 6
Prime Minister Lawrence Wong added in a Facebook post on Dec. 8 that the funds will help deliver essential health, relief, education, and medical supplies to the people of Gaza.
As of 12 pm on Dec. 6, RLAF said it had raised over S$2,535,753 for the "Humanitarian Aid for Gaza 2024" campaign.
"We are profoundly touched by the generosity and compassion of everyone who has contributed, as well as the community partners and mosques who have played an essential role in spreading awareness and encouraging others to give."
The fundraising campaign will end on Dec. 13.
Singapore delivered the fifth tranche of humanitarian assistance and aid to Gaza on Nov. 2, bringing the total contributions since Oct. 7, 2023, to approximately S$18 million in November 2025.
