New York-inspired Christmas train show with floral displays at Gardens by the Bay till Jan. 5, 2025

Inspired by a century-old tradition in the U.S., the Gardens by the Bay will have its own Christmas Train Show — on display at the Flower Dome until Jan. 5, 2025.

This train show is presented in collaboration with the Embassy of the United States in Singapore and draws inspiration from New York Botanical Garden’s Holiday Train Show.
The show features miniature model trains and plant-based replicas of iconic New York City landmarks, such as the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building and the Grand Central Terminal.

These replicas are crafted using plant materials such as pinecone scales, twigs and seeds.
The display includes five model trains that travel along 100m tracks, loops, overhead trails and scenic backdrops of American landscapes.

The venue is also decorated with festive touches, including Christmas trees, gnomes and lights.

In collaboration with the Embassy of Sweden, the event showcases model trains and 3D figures representing the railway landscapes of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

A section of the show also pays tribute to Singapore’s railway history, featuring recreations of Raffles Place MRT station and an MRT train cabin.

A free 30-minute program where participants can see, touch and smell different varieties of poinsettias.

An interactive experience of creating and decorating a Christmas-themed musical box with festive trinkets.

Get Crafty! - Christmas Beauty on Floral Nagomi by Fei Yue Community Services
Design Christmas floral illustrations with the art materials provided.

Get Crafty! - Christmas Wreath Candle Holder by Kouyuu Buddy
Craft a wreath candle holder using dried moss, acorns, pinecones and other decorative accents.

- Fee: S$15 per person
All workshops require children under seven years old to be accompanied by an adult.

Flower Dome admission tickets for residents are priced between S$8 and S$27.
