Less rain & 'fine weather days' expected in S'pore in 1st half of Dec. 2024
The daily maximum temperature may exceed 34°C slightly on a few days.

Drier conditions could bring a few fine weather days to Singapore in the first week of December 2024, said the Meteorological Service Singapore in a Dec. 2 media advisory.
However, don't put away your umbrellas just yet, as more rainfall may occur in the second week of the month.
Moderate to heavy thundery showers are expected over parts of Singapore on most afternoons, with some possibly extending into the night on a few of those days.
The total rainfall for the first fortnight of December 2024 is forecast to be near average over most parts of the island.
34°C days possible
The daily maximum temperatures for the first half of December 2024 are likely to range between 32°C and 34°C on most days.
On a few days, the daily maximum temperature can exceed 34°C slightly.
Second half of Nov. 2024 was wet
The second fortnight of November 2024 was wet, as moderate to heavy thundery showers occurred on most days.
While the showers fell mostly in the afternoon, some extended into the evening on a few days.
Overall, Singapore recorded well above average rainfall over the last two weeks, with areas around Admiralty and Pasir Ris registering rainfall of about 185 per cent above average.
Despite the rain, the daily maximum temperatures in the second half of November 2024 ranged between 31°C and 34°C on most days.
The highest daily maximum temperature of 34.8°C was recorded at Clementi on Nov. 22.
