Tickets to S'pore Disney cruise maiden voyage in Dec. 2025 sold out on 1st day of general sale
Never too early to plan for your next trip.
The Disney Adventure, a Disney cruise that will set sail from Singapore, will be embarking on its maiden voyage on Dec. 15, 2025.
As of Dec. 10, the first day when the general public could start booking their trips, tickets for the cruise's maiden voyage were already sold out.
At around 4pm, while searching for tickets for the maiden voyage, those interested were asked to select another cruise.
Cruise package prices range from S$1,283 to S$13,021.
Each voyage has an estimated passenger capacity of 6,700 and around 2,500 crew members, according to Disney Cruise Line.
Website unavailable for some customers
The strong demand for the cruise also appeared to have overwhelmed Disney Cruise Line's website on Dec. 10 morning.
While the general sale only commenced at 8am, a Xiaohongshu user shared that she was unable to use the website as of 8am and attached a screenshot to her post.
In the screenshot, the website could be seen carrying a notice that read, "Our system is temporarily unavailable as we perform routine maintenance. Rest assured, we'll be back soon."
Her sentiment was echoed by another Xiaohongshu user in the comments section, who lamented that she also had trouble with the website since 8am.
In response, Disney Cruise Line posted an Instagram story at around 9:10am, stating that its website was "experiencing high demands", which resulted in "some delays".
The company also asked those interested to check its website at a later time or reach out to its contact centre for assistance.
Disney statement
In response to Mothership's queries about the website unavailability and the strong demand for Disney Adventure tickets, a Disney spokesperson said there has been "an overwhelming positive interest from both local and international guests" since bookings for the cruise went live on Tuesday.
"As of noon, there has been tremendous demand across our sail dates, including our maiden voyage," read the statement.
According to the spokesperson, homeporting in Singapore allows Disney to "focus on source markets that are already key contributors to Singapore's tourism sector".
"By looking at Singapore's tourism arrivals and dominant market sources, we can predict that India, China, and Indonesia will be some of our key markets," read the statement.
While Disney is "unable to share any specifics", the spokesperson said it has received feedback from regional and local travel operators that Disney Cruise Line works closely with.
Their feedback indicated that "there has been a consistent, high volume of interest in booking enquiries".
"We are excited and look forward to meeting all our guests who will be amongst the first to set sail starting from our maiden voyage on Dec. 15, 2025, and all through March 2026," added the spokesperson.
