2025 is just around the corner, and you’ll be pleased to know that the first long weekend by way of the Chinese New Year holidays will come earlier next year.

In 2025, Chinese New Year eve will fall on Jan. 28.

The next two days are public holidays as the first and second day of CNY will follow on Jan. 29 and 30.

For everyone, rejoice.

You’ll get a short, three-day work week just a few weeks after New Year celebrations.

For celebrants of CNY, it means there’ll be less time to switch gears from Christmas and New Year celebrations to preparing for the lunar festivities.

No worries, though. Crystal Jade has got you covered with their Chinese New Year meals – thoughtfully prepared and ready to go.

Here are eight items you can pre-order now and look forward to.

Culinary delights in the office or at home

If you’re celebrating CNY in the office, at parties with friends or even at family gatherings, Crystal Jade’s takeaway bundles will ensure your event prospers with joy and satisfaction.

1. Auspicious Reunion Festive Takeaway Bundle

At the heart of their takeaway offerings this year is the “Auspicious Reunion Feast Festive Takeaway Bundle” (regular price: S$571.20, member price: S$398).

Serving five to seven people, the bundle features a line-up of mouthwatering dishes such as the luxurious “Bountiful Abalone Pen Cai” and “Reunion Yu Sheng with Norwegian Salmon”.

It also comes with the crowd favourite carrot cake, glutinous rice with lotus leaf, and salt-baked kampung chicken with hairy fig.

2. Premium Prosperity Yusheng

If you’re planning a lohei session with your colleagues or friends instead of a full meal, enjoy Crystal Jade’s “Premium Prosperity Yusheng”.

The yusheng will leave you blessed with wealth and fortune with its premium seafood ingredients — South African abalone, great amberjack sashimi and Australian scallops.

While the seafood takes the spotlight, the rest of the yusheng also features top-grade ingredients like pink grapefruit, bittersweet pomelo, crisp red apple, and tangy dried mango.

Crunchy accompaniments like deep-fried yam and candied walnut add texture to the cacophony of flavours.

The yusheng is topped with dressing made from Okinawan citrus and traditional plum sauce.

The “Premium Prosperity Yusheng” comes in two sizes — small, which serves five to seven persons, and large, which serves eight to 10 persons.

The festive cakes also come in individual portions (7”).
