Mediacorp actress Chantalle Ng has raised S$9,060 by selling "Christmas Kombucha".

The funds will go towards two dog shelters and animal care groups, Causes For Animals Singapore and Voices For Animals, split equally.

Each one-litre bottle of gingerbread-flavoured kombucha costs S$50.

A good cause

Ng made the announcement of the donation on her Instagram on Dec. 29, 2024.

She thanked her collaborators and everyone who bought her kombucha to support a good cause.

She also shared that the contribution of S$4,530 to Voices For Animals was done through giving.sg, where every dollar is matched.

The organisation will thus receive double the amount.

In the video, Ng said she would make kombucha and send it to her friends and family every year during Christmas.

This year, she decided to sell it to help out the animal shelters.

She sold the kombucha online and at the Casual Poet Library, a shared community library in Alexandra Village.

She also treated the dogs at the shelters to a "hearty Christmas meal" thanks to Omakase Singapore, which supplies pet food.

The post garnered over 3,200 likes, with other celebrities and fans leaving supportive comments.
