Man, 35, arrested after car overturned in AMK, weapons, drugs & vapes found

The driver of the car that landed upside down at the junction of Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 and 8 on Dec. 3 was arrested after the police found weapons, drugs and e-vaporisers in his car.
In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said they were alerted to an accident involving a car at about 7:05am.
It was believed that the car self-skidded at the junction of Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 and 8.
Two flick knives, one penknife, a knuckle duster, two e-vaporisers, controlled drugs and drug paraphernalia, were found in the car.
A 35-year-old male car driver was arrested for possession of offensive weapon and suspected drug-trafficking offences.
The driver was conveyed conscious to the hospital.
The e-vaporiser related offence will be referred to the Health Sciences Authority, and the suspected drug-trafficking offences have been referred to the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB).
Investigations are ongoing.
Blocked left-turn lane
The front and top of the car appeared badly damaged in the aftermath of the incident.
The car was also missing its whole front bumper.
Numerous traffic police personnel were seen at the scene.
A video of the aftermath of the incident was shared online.
The caption of the video claimed that the car hit a tree while turning left.
The damaged car blocked the left-turn lane.
