Motorcyclist, 37, injured after car allegedly runs red light & sends him flying off motorbike along Stamford Road
A 37-year-old car driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing hurt.
A motorcyclist was thrown off his bike after a car allegedly ran a red light and collided with him at the junction of Raffles Avenue and Stamford Road on Dec. 15.
The police confirmed with Mothership that they were alerted to a collision involving a car and a motorcycle at 11:20am.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) conveyed a 37-year-old male motorcyclist to Singapore General Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.

Footage of the incident was uploaded to the Telegram channel sgfollowsall.
The video shows that the motorcyclist apparently had the right of way at the time of the collision.
The traffic lights had turned green for the motorcyclist when a Honda Shuttle was captured on video, appearing to run the red light and crashing into him.
A second video, taken from the opposite side and shared on the Facebook group SG Road Vigilante, shows the motorcyclist being thrown off his bike upon impact.
He slid along the road as he landed face down, appearingĀ motionless before the video ended.
