Car crashes into guardrail, flips & lands in Tanglin Road drain, man, 46, assisting with investigations
The car likely self-skidded.
A car crashed into a guardrail near a Tanglin Road bus stop and landed bonnet-first in a drain on Dec. 18.
The police and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Mothership that they were alerted to the accident involving a car at around 1:25pm.
The car was believed to have self-skidded, police said.

Footage of the aftermath of the incident was shared on Facebook the next day.
It showed a red car which had come to rest sideways on the pavement in between a lamp post and an electrical box.
The front of the car ended up in the drain.
A damaged portion of green railing, resembling a guard rail, was also in the drain.
Police had cordoned off the accident site.
A police officer was seen walking past the precariously perched car.
Driver, 46, assisting with investigations
Police said a 46-year-old male driver is assisting with investigations.
SCDF said he sustained minor injuries but refused conveyance to the hospital.
Police investigations are ongoing.
