BMW loses tyre along Jalan Bukit Merah

A tyre apparently fell off a moving BMW that was travelling along Jalan Bukit Merah on Dec. 15, 2024.

Footage of the incident was uploaded to social media.

It appeared to be taken from the the dashboard camera of another vehicle on the road at that time.

Footage showed the BMW's front right tyre falling off whole and pulling away from the car.

Bits of rubber were scattered along the road.

The occupants of the vehicle filming the scene could be heard exclaiming, "Holy crap!"

They asked if the driver was aware of what had just happened.

They could also be heard saying that the BMW driver appears to be "freaking out" and that he appeared to be slowing down.

The sound of the BMW's tyre rim scraping against the road could also be heard.

Many commentators on the video expressed their amazement at the incident and speculated about why the tyre fell off.

At least one commentator also saw humour in the situation.
