1kg tuna bowl challenge at JEM Don Don Donki, free if finished in 10 minutes

If you're a fast eater with a huge appetite, now's your chance to put your talent to good use.

This December, Sen Sen Sushi is challenging five customers per day to finish their Mega Blue Fin Tuna Don, weighing 1kg.

The restaurant is a brand under beloved Japanese retail chain Don Don Donki, with three outlets across Singapore.

The challenge is available only at their JEM outlet, from Mondays to Thursdays (excluding public holidays).

Priced at S$44.80, the bowl comprises three types of tuna, weighing 400 grams in total, in addition to 600 grams of rice and garnished with generous amounts of spring onion.

Participants who are able to finish the bowl within 10 minutes do not have to pay, and will even earn themselves a certificate validating their efforts.

If completed after 10 minutes, contestants will still have to pay for the bowl, but will get an exclusive Sen Sen Sushi shirt as a token of their participation.

The Japanese chain ran a similar challenge last month, which saw 13 winners.
