Viral cheese coin pancake store at Tanjong Pagar to close on Jan. 15, 2025
Not a forever goodbye.
10 Cent Pancake will close its Tanjong Pagar Plaza outlet on Jan. 15, 2025.
The standalone shop, which opened on Apr. 19, 2024, offers a local twist on the viral Korean "10 Won Coin Pancake".
The pancakes are locally inspired, shaped like Singapore's ten-cent coin and are known for their cheesy mozzarella filling, which stretches as you pull apart the pancake.
Each pancake is priced at S$5.
Not a full goodbye
The closure was announced in an Instagram post, where the shop assured customers that it was not closing for good.
They are currently searching for a new location, with plans to open their future store in the "heart of a warm neighbourhood".
The team thanked customers for their support and encouraged followers to stay tuned for updates on the store's next chapter.
