According to Shin Min, Wang was crossing an intersection near Mandai Estate when the incident took place.
A man who worked at a factory nearby told the Chinese daily that he was having dinner when he suddenly heard "a loud sound".
However, he did not check it out as he thought it must have been another car accident in the vicinity.

As a result, four individuals were conveyed to the hospital.
The motorcyclist, 28, who got married two months ago, passed away.

When the worker finished his meal and walked outside his factory, he noticed that an ambulance had already arrived at the scene.
"I saw [Wang's] head bleeding, and he could not speak," recounted the worker.
The worker subsequently returned to the factory.
When he visited the scene of the collision again at around 9pm, police officers and paramedics had already left.
