Taiwan woman offers small house in Kaohsiung in exchange for Jay Chou concert tickets
A house??
A woman in Taiwan took to Facebook on Oct. 27 in an attempt to score some tickets to Jay Chou's concert.
For six tickets for the Dec. 7 concert in Taipei, the woman said she was willing to exchange them for a small house in the Nanzih District of Kaohsiung.
The woman specified that she wanted tickets for the first row of A4 or the first row of A3 and shared the floor plan for the concert.
"House ownership documents can be verified," she wrote in her post.
"Not a scam," she added.
According to the Taipei Times, Chou will perform at the Taipei Dome for the first time in years from Dec. 5 to 8, 2024.
Tickets went on sale on Oct. 23 and were sold out within five minutes.
No regrets
One comment under the woman's post stated that "not seeing really won't kill you".
However, the woman disputed: "Not seeing won't kill you, but you'll have regrets."
"Not having a partner won't kill you.
Not buying a house or a car won't kill you.
Not traveling abroad won't kill you.
Not drinking won't kill you.
Please don’t fulfill your own desires while advising others to achieve their dreams."
Another pointed out that she could have bought a plane ticket and seen Chou's concert abroad with the woman's money.
The woman replied that she did not try to get the tickets this time and "decided it's more convenient to let someone find tickets for [her]".
Another simply commented: "Outrageous," and she responded: "Houses are available everywhere, but concerts aren't guaranteed".
In later comments, the woman also clarified that the six tickets were not for six people but for her and one other person.
"I just want the seat next to me to be empty it stands out more that way."
