Water pipe burst in Clementi, area around block submerged in water

A main water pipe in Clementi burst in the middle of the night on Nov. 25, 2024, which affected many homes and businesses.
This was according to Jurong GRC Member of Parliament (MP) Tan Wu Meng, who added that the water pipe is located next to Block 324 Clementi Avenue 5.
In a video uploaded by Tan on social media, the pavement around the block was flooded with murky water.

He added that urgent repairs are ongoing, and PUB, the Land Transport Authority (LTA), and the Jurong-Clementi town council are working to assist affected residents while the pipe is being repaired.
As of 7:30am on Monday morning, the area around the block was still flooded.
