Ding will co-chair the JCBC meeting with DPM Gan.
China's Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang will make an official visit to Singapore from Nov. 10 to Nov. 11 at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Minister for Trade & Industry Gan Kim Yong, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said.
Both will co-chair several meetings including the 20th Joint Council for Bilateral Cooperation (JCBC) meeting, 5th Suzhou Industrial Park Joint Steering Council (JSC), the 16th Tianjin Eco-City JSC, and the 8th China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity JSC meetings.
The JCBC meeting is an annual apex bilateral platform which reviews the substantive collaboration between Singapore and China and charts the direction of cooperation, according to PMO.
"The JSCs will review the progress made on the three flagship Government-to-Government projects and discuss ways to further advance their development," they added.
DPM Gan will also have a bilateral meeting with Ding, and host a Welcome Dinner on Nov. 10.
Ding will also call on President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong.
Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean will also host Ding to a meal.
This year also marks the 30th anniversary of the Suzhou Industrial Park. Vice Premier Ding and DPM Gan will participate in a tree-planting ceremony at the Singapore Botanic Gardens to commemorate the ceremony.
