The jackpot for Singapore Pools' Nov. 14 Toto draw has reached S$10 million again.
This was after a winner failed to emerge in the previous three Toto draws, allowing the top prize quantum to balloon.
The Group 1 prize on Nov. 4 was S$1.241 million. It grew to S$2.925 million (Nov. 7), then S$5.989 million (Nov. 11), and finally an estimated S$10 million for the Nov. 14 draw.
The Toto draw on Nov. 14 is known as a "cascade draw", which takes place after three consecutive draws without a Group 1 winner.
3rd cascade draw in 2024
This is the third time a cascade draw has occurred in 2024.
The cascade draw on May 9 saw S$13.125 million awarded to one winning ticket.
Another cascade draw on Oct. 21 saw S$13.214 million split among two winning tickets.
If a Group 1 winner does not emerge in the Nov. 14 draw, the prize money will be split among the Group 2 winners, as was the case on Dec. 21, 2023. The Toto draw saw the S$12.8 million prize split 12 ways, with each winning share amounting to about S$1.19 million.
The timing of the Nov. 14 draw will be pushed back from the usual 6:30pm to 9:30pm.
Betting will also close later, at 9pm, rather than the usual 6pm.
