Three junior colleges (JCs), Temasek JC (TJC), Anderson Serangoon JC (ASRJC), and Jurong Pioneer JC (JPJC) will be moving into new campuses that will open in January 2028, The Straits Times reported.

The campuses will occupy smaller land sites but will have more total floor space.

They will also have taller, 12-storey buildings.

ST reported that design work for the ASRJC and JPJC campuses is underway, and will be completed progressively over the next few months.

A construction tender for TJC was called on Oct. 14, 2024.

TJC campus

The new TJC campus will be situated at 22 Bedok South Road, and will have a site area of about 4.5ha, and a gross floor area of around 50,900 sq m.

Its old campus, set to be demolished, occupied a site area of 8.4ha, and a gross floor area of around 33,300 sq m, ST added.

TJC’s new campus will have a 12-storey block with administration spaces, a music hub and science laboratories.

It will also have a six-storey block with a parade square, auditorium, canteen and indoor sports hall, among other facilities, and a nine-storey block with seminar and tutorial rooms.

A separate nine-storey block will house seminar and tutorial rooms.

A two-storey block overlooks the school's track and field, with a spectator gallery, two covered basketball and tennis courts.

There is also a single-storey block with an indoor shooting range.

ASRJC Campus

The new ASRJC campus will replace the former Anderson JC campus at 4500 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6.

The old campus occupied an area of about 5.9ha, and a gross floor area of roughly 27,000 sq m.

The new campus will occupy a smaller area of 4.2ha, but will have a larger gross floor area of 40,500 sq m.

The new campus will have a nine-storey block with a canteen and parade square.

The block will also have multi-purpose and indoor sports halls, as well as other amenities.

The campus will also have two 11-storey blocks with administration and teaching spaces.

JPJC Campus

The new JPJC campus will replace the former Jurong JC campus at 800 Corporation Road.

The old campus occupied an area of 6.6ha, and a gross floor area of 24,900 sq m.

The new campus will occupy a smaller area of 4.1ha, but will have a larger floor area of 40,400 sq m.

The campus comprises a 12-storey block with teaching spaces, and two six-storey blocks with sports facilities.
