The motorcyclist could not be seen until the driver leaned over the dashboard to look.
A video of a motorcycle that was too close to a bus at a traffic light and did not get noticed initially by the driver has gone viral.
The video was shared on Facebook on Nov. 7 and has since garnered over 3,000 reactions and 1.3 million views.
Driver does not notice motorcyclist until he peers over dashboard
The video appeared to be filmed from the driver's perspective.
It showed the driver looking around the interior of his vehicle at first.
The motorcyclist cannot be seen until the driver leans over the dashboard and notices the presence of a helmet on the left-front side of his vehicle.
Upon zooming in and realising the motorcyclist also has a child sitting in front of him, the driver can be heard exclaiming in shock and saying in Hokkien that he couldn't see.
The camera then zooms out again and pans to the right, showing other motorcyclists who can clearly be seen waiting in front of the minibus.
Many users reacted to the video in shock as well, echoing the driver's sentiment about the dangerous behaviour of the motorcyclist.
Low also added in a comment in Mandarin:
"This is why every time I am waiting at a red light, I don't dare to look at my phone and I'm very cautious of (motorcyclists) and other drivers. If I never see them, it's over."
