Max Verstappen clinches 4th driver's championship in a row at 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix

Oracle Red Bull Racing Driver Max Verstappen has clinched his fourth consecutive driver's title at the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix.
He finished ahead of championship rival McLaren driver Lando Norris in fifth place, while the latter placed sixth.
Mercedes drivers George Russell and Lewis Hamilton took first and second respectively.
Verstappen took the lead at the 2024 Sao Paulo Grand Prix, where he drove from 17th to first in wet and slippery conditions, while his rival finished sixth.
The win extended his lead over Norris to 62 points.
Coming into this race weekend, Verstappen needed to finish a points-awarding place in front of Norris to win.
His championship didn't come as easy as it did in 2022, when he won a record of 19 out of 22 Grand Prix races held.
Engine and chassis issues plagued the Red Bull driver throughout the year, with the car carrying less speed compared to its competitors McLaren and Ferrari.
The team also currently sits third in the Constructors' Championship, hindered by the performance of second driver Sergio Perez.
