A 73-year-old man has been charged for allegedly molesting four women on a Singapore Airlines (SIA) flight from the U.S. to Singapore.
He is accused of molesting one of the women four times, while the other three were targeted once each.
In total, Indian national Balasubramanian Ramesh was handed a total of seven charges pertaining to molest, according to The Straits Times.
The women cannot be named due to a gag order to protect their identities.
Court documents did not state if the women were passengers or cabin crew.
How did the incidents of molest supposedly unfold?
On Nov. 18, at 3:15am, Balasubramanian allegedly molested his first victim, followed by his second victim about five minutes later.
He also purportedly molested his second victim three more times afterwards, between 3:30am and 6:30am.
As for his alleged third victim, Balasubramanian is accused of molesting her at about 9:30am.
He is also accused of molesting his fourth victim at about 5:30pm on the same day.
Balasubramanian is expected to plead guilty when he returns to court on Dec. 13.
A charge of molestation carries a jail term of up to three years, a fine or a caning, or a combination of any of these punishments.
However, Balasubramanian cannot be caned as he is above 50.
