Hello Kitty-themed pop-up with carnival & water park to open at Changi Airport from Nov. 1, 2024

The Hello Kitty Festive Wonderland will open at Changi Airport from Nov. 1, 2024, to Feb. 16, 2025.

This event marks the fifth edition of the Changi Festive Village.

Located in Terminal 3 (T3) Departure Hall, the attraction features an 8m-tall Hello Kitty topiary surrounded by characters such as My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, and Pompompurin.

Meet-and-greet sessions

Exclusive meet-and-greet sessions with Sanrio characters will take place on selected weekends from Nov. 2 to Dec. 22, 2024.

To reserve a meet-and-greet pass, visitors must spend S$50 (or S$80 in supermarkets and Jewel) in a single same-day receipt at participating retail and F&B outlets in Changi Airport's public areas, using the Changi app.

Daily snow shows will run from Nov. 2, 2024, to Jan. 1, 2025, with timings as follows:

  • Mondays to Thursdays, 7:30pm and 8:30pm
  • Fridays to Sundays, 7:30pm, 8:30pm and 9:30pm

Photo opportunities

Starting Nov. 14, 2024, Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters' festive topiaries and figurines will be available for photos across all four terminals.

Carnival experience

A Hello Kitty and Friends carnival will be held in T3 Arrival Hall daily from 12pm to 10pm.

The carnival will have nine zones themed around various Sanrio characters, offering games, rides, activities, and prizes.

Visitors can earn carnival tokens by spending S$50 (or S$80 in supermarkets and jewellery) on a single same-day receipt at participating outlets.

Tokens can also be purchased on-site or through the Changi app.

Inflatable water park

Cosmic HydroPark will take place at T3 Coach Bay from Nov. 1, 2024, to Feb. 16, 2025.

Operating daily from 11am to 9pm, the water park includes an obstacle course with swings, trampolines, balance beams, and a giant slide.

Ticket prices range from S$8 to S$86.

Sanrio pop-up stores

Sanrio-themed pop-up stores will be available in the Departure Halls of Terminals 2, 3, and 4.

It offers character merchandise including travel goods, toys, and personalised gifts.

  • Hello Kitty or Cinnamoroll Hand Warmer Cushion (S$12.90)
  • Puffy Bag with Hello Kitty and Friends Bag Charm (S$29.90)
  • Hello Kitty Cabin Luggage with Stickers (S$49.90)

Changi rewards promotions

Changi Rewards members who meet minimum spending requirements at Changi Airport, Jewel, or iShopChangi will receive a complimentary Sanrio Gift Set.

The gift set includes a Hello Kitty Mini Luggage and a Kuromi Hand Warmer Cushion.

Members can also participate in the Changi Rewards Festive Gachapon to unlock limited-edition Sanrio collectables.

To redeem a play at the Festive Gachapon, members must spend S$50 in a single receipt using Changi Pay or Mastercard (or S$60 for other payment methods) at Changi Airport or iShopChangi.
