I watched a groom dressed as a frog & the bride admitted she hasn't been faithful. Is this wedding even real?

Is it staged? Because it looks staged.

Where content goes, I follow.

And if I live by this rule, I know I am not the only one.

Which is why many of us are here on this video.

It has been watched about 867,000 times in just five days.

If I had to summarise it in five sentences, it is basically about an Asian couple getting married.

The groom is in a frog costume and the bride is dressed as a princess.

They are prancing about in front of guests to get on stage during their wedding dinner.

The bride then announces in the midst of her speech that she has not been faithful, which sends shock waves throughout the room, and permeates through the screen to reach the viewer.

And the video cuts off abruptly.

And here is why we love stuff like this on the internet.

Why we can't get enough

Putting aside the obvious explanation that we all want to find out what eventually happened between the couple, or that we all love drama because our own lives are so dull, we are watching to see if there is anything or anyone in the video we are familiar with.

Because we want it to be real as it is potentially very terrible.

And there is a good chance there could be someone present whom you know, such as an acquaintance, or a schoolmate who is involved, and you recognise them from the clip.

It might sound like a long shot, but there is also a miniscule chance it could have happened to you and you dodged a bullet (i.e. like you actually dated the bride at some point, but thank goodness, it did not work out).

Chat is this real?

And if nothing rings a bell, you turn to the comments section for some help.

This is where in a world of Twitch and Discord, Gen Alpha will go, “Chat is this real?”

It is evidently clear that no one seems to know what is going on either.

Commenters are either making stuff up or asking, “what is going on FR?”

And that is a bad sign.

How can two people getting married in front of a whole bunch of other people not have some people know who they are and shed light on what is happening?

This video is starting to look more staged than not.

Look, there is even one woman seen in the video recording what is going on.

No clues at all

Here's a fact: In 2020, more than half of the people on Earth were already using social media.

That's a lot of people.

The number of people on social media in 2024 would be much more

So, if there is an event that occurred in a room full of people, who are very likely on social media, but there’s only one video of it on the entire internet, there’s a good chance this was staged.

But I am still holding out it could still be real and an entirely authentic experience – albeit a potentially awful one.

So, here’s the toss-up.

The venue appears to be a real dinner venue.

We just cannot tell exactly where.

We can tell from the accent of the bride that she could be local, but she did not say anyone’s name, which would have been the most excellent clue.

And why would anyone cut a video off just before the big reveal?

And miss the plot twist?

If you had to shoot this from scratch as a skit, how much would it cost?

That’s a lot of background actors.

In conclusion, if this video was staged and it was trying to sell me something, it better be a good deal.

A Lazada deal

If you made it this far, you should be rewarded.

Because here is the payoff: In part two of this drama revealed in a separate video, the camera actually pans to the door and a delivery man appears with a Lazada parcel.

The bride then comes clean to her groom and reveals she betrayed him because she switched to Lazada this 11.11 for the lowest prices.

She effectively chooses Low-yalty over loyalty.
