The beloved editor and publisher of The Rodent's Gazette, the one and only Geronimo Stilton, is coming to Singapore on Nov. 16, 2024.
Hailing all the way from Mouse Island, the "famouse" journalist will be one of the featured presenters at the Singapore Writers Festival 2024.
From 10am to 11am at Victoria Theatre, he will be joined by special correspondent, Thea Stilton.
The two of them will be sharing tales from "A Thousand Wonders", a book about Italy.
After the storytelling, the first 200 ticketholders will also be able to queue up for a meet-and-greet with both Geronimo and Thea for an autograph and photo.
All child ticketholders will also get a Geronimo Stilton's friendship certificate.
Tickets are priced at S$10 each.
Author Elisabetta Dami to join panel discussion
Elisabetta Dami, the 66-year-old Italian author who gave us the Geronimo Stilton books, will also be joining a panel discussion later in the day on Nov. 16 as part of the festival.
From 3:30pm to 4:30pm at the Arts House, she will be joining authors Maureen Yeo and Gabrielle Wang via a live-stream for a discussion entitled "Introducing Culture and Values to Young People".
The Singapore Writers Festival will be held from Nov. 8 to 17, 2024.
This year's theme is "In Our Nature", and purports to "explore profound questions about our connection to the natural world and each other".
Some of the featured presenters at this year's edition include Sri Lankan Booker Prize winner Shehan Karunatilaka, and South Korean writer Baek Sehee.
