Car flips & lands sideways onto Yishun pavement

A blue Kia crashed and landed sideways on a pavement near a bus stop in Yishun on Nov. 21 morning.

Police told Mothership that they were alerted to the incident at the junction of Yishun Central 2 and Yishun Central at about 8:30am.

Pictures of the scene were shared on social media.

The Kia was shown to have landed on a walkway.

The undercarriage of the car was still smoking.

Police and Land Transport Authority (LTA) officers were also at the scene.

According to a search on LTA's database, there are no records for the car's road tax expiry date.

Police said that when they arrived, the car driver was no longer at the scene.

Police investigations are ongoing.
