Several incidents in past week
There has been several mass casualty incidents in recent weeks in China.
On Nov. 11, 35 people were killed after a man rammed his car into a crowd in the southern city of Zhuhai — the deadliest attack in the country in a decade.
Police said the man had been upset about how his assets were split in his divorce settlement.
Just a few days later on Nov. 16, eight people were killed and 17 others wounded in a knife attack at Wuxi Vocational College of Arts and Technology in Yixing, Jiangsu.
The suspect, a former student of the school, was reportedly angry because he did not receive his graduation certificate and pay, and had failed an exam.
