A former drummer for the band My Chemical Romance, Bob Bryar, was found dead in his home in Tennessee in the U.S.

The 44-year-old was last seen alive on Nov. 4.

His cause of death remains under investigation, though no foul play is suspected.

Weapons and music equipment in his home were left untouched.

U.S. entertainment news outlet TMZ reported on Nov. 29 that the body was found "badly decomposed" and that two dogs were taken away by Animal Control.

Bryar was a drummer for My Chemical Romance from 2004 to 2010, before retiring from music completely in 2014.

He was the band's longest-tenured drummer.

Bryar played some of the rock band's biggest hits, including their well-known 2006 record "The Black Parade".

He also wrote songs for their 2010 album "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys".

Yet he left the group before the release of the 2010 album, working with several other bands for the next few years before announcing his transition to a real estate career.

My Chemical Romance — which currently consists of Gerard Way, Mikey Way, Frank Iero, and Ray Toro — is scheduled to go on tour in July 2025 ahead of the 20th anniversary of "Welcome to the Black Parade".
