Car overturns in Yishun after getting hit by another car that allegedly didn't have right of way
Oh no.
A dark-coloured car turned turtle after a traffic accident at Yishun Avenue 2 at around 8:50am on Nov. 27.
It was sent flying after a collision with a silver car that apparently did not have the right of way, based on footage seen by Mothership.
A woman, 31, was conveyed to hospital.
In a video taken by a Mothership reader, the dark-coloured car was hit from the side before flipping over after it was struck by a silver car.
The silver car apparently proceeded forwarded when it did not have the right of way at the traffic junction.
The silver car was seen gradually reversing after impact.
Some debris was left strewn across the road.
The reader, who wanted to be known only as KHT, said his colleague later saw an ambulance at the scene.
A photo taken by another Mothership reader showed the aftermath of the accident, with the dark-coloured car on its roof.
It appeared "pretty much intact", apart from being upside-down, said the reader.
An ambulance and police vehicle could also be seen in the vicinity, she added.
In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were alerted to the accident at around 8:50am.
A 31-year-old female car driver was conveyed conscious to hospital, said the Singapore Police Force.
Police investigations are ongoing.
