Applications for the 2025 Lee Kuan Yew (LKY) Scholarship are open for Singaporeans wishing to pursue postgraduate studies.
The application period is from Dec. 1, 2024, to Feb. 21, 2025.
From 2024, the LKY Scholarship has been enhanced to include full sponsorship of tuition fees.
This is in addition to the annual allowance of S$50,000 for the duration of the recipients' postgraduate studies.
Recipients may pursue their postgraduate studies locally or overseas, and there is no restriction on the course of study.
Those currently enrolled in a postgraduate programme and wishing to apply for the LKY Scholarship need at least two remaining academic terms at the time of their application.
According to the press release, candidates for the LKY Scholarship should have "the potential to contribute to Singapore and society through their pursuits and expertise".
Those with a strong track record of leadership and excellence in their respective fields are invited to apply.
All applications will be assessed holistically.

What is the LKY Scholarship?
The LKY Scholarship was established in 1991 by the Tanjong Pagar Citizens' Consultative Committee to commemorate the contributions of the late Lee Kuan Yew to Singapore.
To date, 84 Singaporeans have been awarded the scholarship to pursue their postgraduate studies in numerous fields, like law, business management, life sciences and the arts.
