2 men, 17 & 25, arrested for rioting with deadly weapon in Woodlands fight at 1am
A 42-year-old man was sent to hospital and arrested for possessing a weapon.
Two men have been arrested after a fight broke out in a Woodlands Housing and Development Board (HDB) estate in the early morning of Nov. 11.
Police said in a Nov. 19 update that the men, aged 17 and 25, were arrested for rioting while armed with a deadly weapon.
The fight
Police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) previously said they were alerted to the fight at about 12.55am on Nov. 11.
A 42-year-old man was sent to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and subsequently arrested for possessing a weapon.
Pictures of the incident showed that police had cordoned off a section of road next to a HDB block.
A dark stain was seen on the ground.
Eyewitnesses said that a group of people were allegedly involved in the fight.
Police investigations are ongoing.
