Tower Transit bus door shatters while on the road in Yishun

Passengers were startled when a Tower Transit bus door shattered suddenly as it drove past Nee Soon East Community Club in Yishun.

Speaking to Mothership, TikTok user gabrielgoh69 said he was heading home onboard service 801 on Oct. 18.

When the bus drove past the community club, the bus door "suddenly cracked and broke into pieces".

He said he was unsure why or how the door cracked.

"Everyone was so shocked because it happened so randomly," he added.

Upon reaching the community club's bus stop, the bus driver alighted to inspect the damage.

Unexpectedly, he returned to the driver's seat and continued driving for two more bus stops before asking all passengers to disembark.

The next bus came swiftly to pick the passengers up, he said.

Mothership has contacted Tower Transit for comment.
