Bless the rains down in S'pore, Toto's Oct. 21, 2024 jackpot reaches S$10 million

Singapore Pool's Oct. 21, 2024 Toto draw has reached S$10 million for the second time this year, after a winner failed to emerge in the previous three draws.

The top Group 1 prize started at S$1.218 million on Oct. 10, growing to S$2.9 million on Oct. 14, before reaching S$5.65 million on Oct. 17.

This means that the Oct. 21 draw has an estimated value of S$10 million.

This has occurred twice in the past 12 months, with the May 9, 2024 draw awarding S$13.1 million to a single winner with a System 7 ticket.

The Dec. 21, 2023 draw saw the S$12.8 million prize split between 12 Group 2 winners as there was no Group 1 winner after four draws, in accordance with Singapore Pool's rules.

Each winner won about S$1.19 million each.

The Oct. 21 draw will be a "cascade draw", which takes place after three consecutive Group 1 draws without a winner.

As a result, the draw will be pushed back from the usual 6.30pm timing to 9.30pm.

Betting will also close later, at 9pm, rather than the usual 6pm.
