Singapore performer, Asokan S/O Muniyandy, known for impersonating Indian actor Sivaji Ganesan, died on Oct. 12, 2024.
He was 60.
Known as the "Singapore Sivaji" due to his uncanny resemblance to the famous actor in Tamil cinema, Asokan would perform at events in Singapore and Malaysia.
He allegedly passed away after collapsing at the end of a recent performance in front of a live audience.
It is not known where the event took place.
However, videos of the incident have been circulating on social media.
Asokan was seen dancing just moments before he collapsed.
He fell face-first to the ground when he and his partner stopped performing and the emcee spoke to the crowd.
Those in attendance appeared shocked.

Seithi Mediacorp reported that Asokan's final rites will take place on Oct. 15.
