SIA to codeshare more flights with Air India from Oct. 27, 2024
Adding 11 destinations in India and another 40 international ones to network.
Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Air India will expand their codesharing partnership by adding 11 destinations in India and another 40 international ones to their network to offer customers more travel options.
The airlines said in a joint media statement on Oct. 23, 2024 that the two carriers will increase their weekly scheduled codeshare services to 56 from 14 from Sunday, Oct. 27.
SIA customers will be able to take Air India’s flights to 12 destinations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Air India customers will also be able to access 29 destinations across SIA’s network.
SIA will codeshare on Air India’s domestic flights between various cities, such as between Mumbai and Kolkata, among others.
Codeshare flights will be progressively made available for sale through the booking channels of both airlines, subject to regulatory approvals, with more destinations included to the codeshare arrangements.
Both airlines are Star Alliance members.

SIA will codeshare on Air India’s domestic flights:
- between Delhi and Amritsar, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Lucknow, and Varanasi,
- between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Goa, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Thiruvananthapuram,
- between Kolkata and Guwahati.
Air India customers will be able to access 29 destinations across SIA’s network:
- Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney,
- Brunei,
- Phnom Penh and Siem Reap,
- Denpasar, Jakarta, Medan, and Surabaya,
- Fukuoka, Nagoya, Osaka, Tokyo-Haneda, and Tokyo-Narita,
- Busan and Seoul,
- Kuala Lumpur and Penang,
- Auckland,
- Cebu and Manila,
- Danang, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City.
This includes existing codeshare arrangements to Kuala Lumpur.
