A Qantas flight QF59 from Sydney bound for Tokyo on Oct. 5, 2024 had a small technical problem, according to reddit user MariKontan.

The in-flight entertainment system was down, leading to the crew having to play the same movie on every screen.

According to the reddit user, passengers could not turn off, dim or pause the film.

Worse yet, the movie featured some sexually explicit scenes.

'Daddio', starring Dakota Johnson and Sean Penn

According to The Guardian, the screened movie was "Daddio", which came out in 2023 starring Dakota Johnson and Sean Penn.

The movie is dialogue-heavy and is entirely filmed within a single taxi ride.

The movie features a few raunchy scenes with graphic nudity and explicit sexting, some of which were captured by MariKontan.

Needless to say, these pictures are not exactly safe for work.

Daddio is rated MA15+ in Australia for “strong coarse language and nudity” in Australia, The Guardian reported.

An hour before the crew switched films

An hour later, the crew switched to a more "kid-friendly" movie, the user wrote.

All the same, the experience was apparently "super uncomfortable" for everyone on board.

A spokesperson for Qantas told The Guardian, “The movie was clearly not suitable to play for the whole flight and we sincerely apologise to customers for this experience."

“All screens were changed to a family-friendly movie for the rest of the flight, which is our standard practice for the rare cases where individual movie selection isn’t possible.

“We are reviewing how the movie was selected," the spokesperson added.
