The series features 100 chefs competing for the title of South Korea's most skilled chef with a winning prize of 300 million Korean won (S$290,000).

Participants are divided into two groups: the White Spoons, which consists of elite chefs who have already made a name for themselves, and the Black Spoons, underdogs known only by their nicknames until they achieve recognition.

"Culinary Class Wars" is structured as a multi-round contest, where contestants face elimination challenges.

Some challenges include forming mixed teams to develop unique restaurant concepts within 24 hours, covering menu design and pricing while competing for customer sales and preparing a dish that represents their life.

Here's a list of restaurants operated by the judges of Culinary Class Wars:

Ahn Sungjae

Ahn Sungjae is the only chef in South Korea with three Michelin stars awarded to his restaurant Mosu. Unfortunately, the Seoul branch closed earlier this year.
