Motorcyclist, 47, dies after accident with car along BKE
The car driver, a 42-year-old male, is assisting with police investigations.
A 47-year-old male motorcyclist passed away after an accident involving his bike and a yellow car along the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) towards Woodlands Checkpoint in the morning of Oct. 4.

The aftermath of the accident was caught on camera by an onlooker, and the footage was subsequently uploaded to Singapore roads accident.com's Facebook page.
According to the video, at least nine motorcyclists gathered around the fallen motorcycle, which was lying on its side on the expressway.
The bike appeared severely damaged, as pieces of debris could be seen scattered across the road.
One person was seen laying on the road in front of the bike.
In another video uploaded by a passer-by to a Telegram group chat, the two rightmost lanes of BKE could be seen cordoned off.
At least two ambulances and seven personnel were present at the scene.
The boot of the yellow car, which was parked along the rightmost lane of the expressway, was dented in.

In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Police Force and the Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were alerted to the accident at around 8:15am on Oct. 4.
The motorcyclist was conveyed unconscious to Woodlands Health, where he passed away.
The car driver, a 42-year-old male, is assisting with police investigations.
Police investigations are ongoing.
