Motorcyclist, 28, injured after AYE accident involving 3 cars & 3 motorcycles
He apparently skidded, fell off his bike, and got run over by another bike.
A 28-year-old male motorcyclist was conveyed conscious to the hospital following an accident involving three motorcycles and three cars along the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) outside of Normanton Park.
The accident occurred at around 10:30pm on Oct. 17.
Video showed motorcyclist suddenly skidding and falling
A video of the accident was uploaded to Facebook, a portion of which was taken from the perspective of another motorcyclist.
Footage showed the motorcyclist in front travelling between cars on the first and second lanes of the expressway.
He suddenly skidded and fell off his bike, causing it to crash into some cars and spin along the ground.
The motorcyclist who happens to be filming the scene can then be heard braking, but he appears to run over the fallen rider before colliding with the still-spinning bike and coming to a stop.
The video then cuts to showing paramedics gathered around the motorcyclist who has fallen, while other drivers and passengers can also be seen standing on the highway around the scene.
