A man and woman were spotted in an argument at Paya Lebar MRT station where things got physical.
A video of the incident, uploaded by TikTok user @chipperdays, showed the two individuals shouting at each other and throwing objects.
At one point, the man slapped the woman.
According to the caption, the woman had slapped the man earlier as well, before the video recording.

The video
In the video, the pair were seen struggling over an object, which the woman eventually grabbed and threw to the ground.
She was heard crying, “Give me my phone, give me my phone.”
The man then slapped her with the back of his hand.
Although the woman flinched, she continued reaching for her phone.
The man then took the phone from his bag and slammed it onto the ground.
He shouted at her to “go”, and she picked up the phone before leaving the scene.
Meanwhile, at least five bystanders were captured in the background, watching as the confrontation unfolded.
Comments
The comments section was filled with criticism of the bystanders, with many asking why no one had intervened.
