Man politely asks cat to get off his motorbike in Boon Lay, cat leaves 10 minutes later

Sashidharan was simply trying to head back home on his motorcycle after visiting his in-laws at Boon Lay when he encountered an unexpected but adorable obstacle: A community cat who refused to get off his bike.

In a video posted on TikTok by his wife, Prema Sam, Sashidharan could be heard trying to "negotiate" with the feline, gesturing with his hands for the feline to move.

"Excuse me, I am talking to you. I need to ride my bike, I know you [are] sleepy, [but] you can go to the next bike. Excuse me, next bike please. I said please.”

Unbothered, the cat continued grooming itself, paying no heed to the biker's requests.

Towards the end, he said in Tamil while sounding exasperated, "Even the cat isn't listening to what I say!"

Sam shared with Mothership that this wasn't the first time the cat had made its "special appearance" on his bike.

In fact, it has happened "multiple times" before.

Many who came across the video found the encounter hilarious, with some joking that the motorbike now has a new owner.

For those wondering, Sam confirmed that the cat "jumped off on its own" after around 10 to 15 minutes later.
