Water pipe leak at Haig Road disrupts water supply to some households for 4 hours
Water supply was restored at around 1:30pm on Oct. 9.
A leaking pipe caused a disruption of water supply to some households at Block 6 Haig Road on Oct. 9.
A Mothership reader captured video footage of a waterlogged area at the block's ground floor, with affected areas cordoned off.
Crack on water pipe
In response to Mothership's inquiries, PUB confirmed that they were alerted to the leak and immediately dispatched their service crew to investigate.
The leak was attributed to a crack in the water pipe.
Water supply to some units was interrupted for approximately four hours during the morning to facilitate urgent repairs.
During this time, a water wagon was deployed to provide a temporary water supply to affected residents.
The water supply was restored around 1:30pm on Oct. 9.
"We apologise for the inconvenience caused," PUB stated.
