The crowd went loud for Barack Obama when he spat bars at a Kamela Harris rally on Oct. 22.

The former U.S. president had taken the stage in Detroit after rap powerhouse Eminem introduced him to the gathered throng.

"I’m here tonight for a couple of important reasons. As most of you know, the City of Detroit and the whole State of Michigan mean a lot to me," Eminem began.

He went on to encourage the people of Detroit to head to the polls when the time comes:

"I also think that people shouldn’t be afraid to express their opinions, and I don’t think anyone wants an America where people are worried about retribution or what people will do if you make your opinion known. I think that VP Harris supports a future for this country where these freedoms and many others will be protected and upheld.

And, here to tell you much more about that, I’m proud to introduce President Barack Obama."

His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy

After hugging Eminem, Obama made his speech at the podium.

"You know I've done a lot of rallies, so I don't usually get nervous. But I'm feeling some kind of way following Eminem," he said.

His diction then slipped smoothly into the iconic lines of Eminem's 2002 track "Lose Yourself".

"I notice my palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy. Vomit on my sweater already, mum's spaghetti."

He forged on: "I'm nervous, but on the surface, I look calm and ready, to drop bombs, but I keep on forgetting."

After a long pause for the crowd to go wild, Obama came back with the beat with a series of "dah-dah-dah-dah".

"Love me some Eminem," he said.

Obama would later go on to throw shade at Harris' opponent Donald Trump for his notorious Oct. 19 town hall, where the Republican candidate played music for over 30 minutes straight instead of answering questions.

“He’s just up there swaying to ‘Ave Maria’ and ‘YMCA’… Now I will say, our playlist might be better,” Obama quipped.

Eminem not a fan of Trump

Like several other celebrities, Eminem has not been shy about showing his disdain for Trump.

The rapper dropped his eight-minute track “Campaign Speech” in 2016, which contained blistering lyrics directed at Trump:

"You say Trump don't kiss ass like a puppet 'cause he runs his campaign with his own cash for the fundin'

And that's what you wanted, a f*ckin' loose cannon who's blunt with his hand on the button who doesn't have to answer to no one? Great idea!"

Shortly after in 2017, Eminem took another jab at Trump in his freestyle rap at the BET Hip-Hop Awards.

The rap opened with the lines: "That’s an awfully hot coffee pot, should I drop it on Donald Trump? Probably not, but that’s all I got ’til I come up with a solid plot.”
