The Agong of Malaysia (Malaysia's king), Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar, showcased his culinary skills by preparing a special Japanese beef curry dish for his staff on Oct. 26.

The Agong, who considers cooking one of his favourite hobbies, reportedly combined traditional Japanese spices and ingredients, as well as local touches to prepare the curry.
According to the post, he had cooked the dish in an intimate setting while interacting with his staff, who also witnessed his skills in preparing the menu.
He then enjoyed the meal with them at dinner later that evening.
The Agong is also skilled in preparing various cuisines.
Pictures from the post showed him meticulously cutting meat and other ingredients for the curry, and also serving the dish on plates himself.
