5 injured after Bishan accident involving 2 cars

A 32-year-old female driver is assisting with investigations.

Telegram WhatsappFive people were injured after a road traffic accident at around 2:15pm on Oct. 20.

The accident involved two cars at the junction of Bishan Street 11 and Bishan Street 12.

Those injured included a 35-year-old male driver, as well as a male and female passenger, both 68.

The crash also led to a 32-year-old female driver and 64-year-old female passenger suffering injuries.

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Mothership that all five were conveyed conscious to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

The 32-year-old female driver is assisting with investigations.

Police investigations are ongoing.

Cars were towed away at around 4pm

A 58-year-old woman surnamed Cai (transliteration) told Shin Min Daily News that her son saw the aftermath of the accident when passing by the area around 2pm.

She said two cars appeared to have collided at the scene.

The cars were towed away at about 4pm on the same day.
