Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., better known as Snoop Dogg, is an American rapper, record producer, and friend of Martha Stewart, America's homemaker and television personality.

On Jun. 23, 2024, the legendary "D-O-double G" showcased his skills on a very different, literal kind of track.

Snoop made a cameo appearance at the U.S. Olympic track and field trials held at Hayward Field, in Oregon, on Jun. 23 and ran an exhibition 200m race, clocking a time of 34.44 seconds.

"34.44 for a 52-year-old? Ain't bad," Snoop wrote in a TikTok he posted on Jun. 24.

Provided commentary for steeplechase

Snoop also provided some entertaining commentary for the steeplechase event at the track and field trials, Reuters reported.

"Oh, he jumped on the top of the hurdle. You can do that? That was a cool trick right there. I liked that one. He went off the tippy-top," he said.Ā

Reuters reported that he will be participating in NBC's primetime coverage of the Paris Olympics in August 2024.

The Paris Olympics will commence on Jul. 26, and end on Aug. 11.

Snoop is an avid sports fan.

He is a certified football coach, and has been operating a youth football league in Los Angeles since 2005.
